The Den Creed

Carry your own weight, then look left and right.

The Den Creed

Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.

Principles the men in here try to live by.

What it is

A few simple things, done every week.

Daily Log

One private line a day. Nobody sees it but you. It's how you notice the drift before it costs you something.

Support Circles

Small hosted calls with men who've been there. No lecture, no fixing. You talk when you're ready.

Rooms

Text rooms open all day — the Front Porch, Work & Grit, Steady Ground, and a Prayer Room for the asks you'd rather not say out loud.

Accountability

Put a commitment on the board, pick how often you want to be asked about it, and let the men here hold you to it.

Guided Mental Health Exercises

Short, private worksheets tailored to what you're actually dealing with — stress, anger, worry, grief, or just a rough patch. No diagnosis, no labels. Just a next step you can take today. Try a sample exercise

Faith

Faith-based, not preachy.

The Den is built on a Christian foundation — there's a Prayer Room and a verse waiting for you every morning. Nobody's going to quiz you on it. Men of every stripe are welcome, and the only thing asked is that you respect the man next to you.

There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24

Said plainly

This is mental health work. We just don't dress it up.

Most men wait until something breaks. The daily log is a two-minute habit that shows you the pattern early — the weeks you slide, the weeks you hold. Circles put a hosted, confidential room around it so you're not sorting it out alone at two in the morning.

  • Private mood logs, visible only to you.
  • Hosted circles, capped small, no cross-talk.
  • Trained leads, not internet advice.
  • No public metrics, no follower counts.

Before you pay

Here's what a daily log actually looks like.

Two minutes, once a day. You pick where you're at, write a line if you want to, and The Den answers plain — no scoring, no advice you didn't ask for. Over a few weeks the pattern shows up on its own.

This is a sample so you can get a feel for it. Your own log is private to you — not the feed, not other members, not leads.

Worn

Third short night this week. Snapped at my boy over a cereal bowl and felt small about it all morning. Told him I was sorry before the bus came.

Worn is honest. You noticed the drift and you made it right the same morning — that's the work. Get one long night of sleep before you decide anything big.

Who's behind this

Men looking for a place to call home.

The Den started because men were looking for a place to call home. Not a support group, not an audience — a house where a man can say the true thing out loud and still be respected in the morning.

Being a Christian is what pushed me to build it. The verse waiting in the morning, the Prayer Room, men praying for each other at two in the morning — that part came first, and the rest was built around it.

I'm not a clinician and I've never pretended to be. What I know is what it costs a man to carry things alone, and that a room full of men who keep their word changes the math.

Voices

Members, in their own words.

Illustrative member voices — names and photos changed while The Den finds its footing. Real quotes replace these as men give permission to use theirs.

I wasn't looking for therapy. I was looking for men who wouldn't flinch when I said it out loud. Found them here.

Three hundred days sober. Not one of them done alone, and not one speech made about it.

The daily log caught me two weeks before I would have caught myself.
